USA BASKETBALL
- Has extensive experience playing internationally, winning gold medals with USA Basketball at the 2021 FIBA Americas U16 Championship and 2022 FIBA U17 World Cup.

- David Castillo was born August 17, 2005, in Houston, Texas… Parents are Nate and Hilda Castillo… They migrated from Honduras to New York… Has three siblings (Letricia, Antonio and Gloria).
- His sister, Letricia, played basketball at the Air Force Academy (2003-07), where she was a 3-time team captain and an honorable mention All-Mountain West selection in 2003-04.
