A strong, athletic combo guard who has a knack for getting his teammates the ball at the right time...averaged 18.1 points, 6.1 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 2.2 steals a game as a senior at Oviedo High School, which posted a 29-2 record last season...earned first team 6A All-State honors from the Florida prep coaches and second team All-State accolades from the Florida Sportswriters Association...a second-team All-Central Florida choice...a three-year starter at Oviedo, where he connected on 56.9 percent of shots from the field as a senior, including 45.6 percent from beyond the three-point line...the MVP of the 2001 Florida All-Star Game and the Bellview Classic...a two-time Orlando Sentinel athlete of the week...will enter K-State as a young freshman who will not turn 18 until the beginning of the 2001-02 season...will enter K-State as a non-scholarship player this fall...coached by Ed Kershner at Oviedo High School.
