Totaled 153 kills (2.73 per set) and a .209 hitting percentage with 17 blocks and 22 digs ... Twice produced 20 kills (October 16 vs Texas and Novemeber 14 vs TCU) ... An Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team selection ... Named to the Beaver State Classic All-Tournament Team in the season's opening weekend after posting eight kills in back-to-back matches against just one error against Idaho and Oregon State ... Started eight matches during her freshman season, averaging 1.54 kills per set while hitting .187 and 0.48 blocks per set (49 total blocks) ... Recorded a season-high 15 kills vs. UMKC on Sept. 12 while hitting .400 (3e-30ta) ... Posted a season-best eight blocks at Texas Tech on Oct. 28 ... Reached double-figure kills three times in her initial campaign, including two during Big 12 play (11 at Texas Tech, 10 at TCU) ... In conference-only matches, she registered 1.54 kills per set and hit .161 with 0.51 blocks per set (30 total blocks). Tallied multiple service aces twice in the season's final five matches (at Kansas, vs. Oklahoma) as she ended the season with five aces.

A four-year letterwinner at Cretin-Derham in St. Paul, Minnesota ... A captain of her varsity team, Carlson led her team to two conference titles and was an all-conference selection three times while she was twice named all-state ... She finished No. 10 in the state with 433 kills her senior season and ended her high-school career with 1,135 kills ... Enrolled at K-State a semester early and joined the program in the spring of 2017.
