• 2023-24 All-American Scholars Team (WGCA)
SOPHOMORE (2024-25): Saw action in five events, putting together a 75.27 scoring average... Best finish of the season was 15th place in the Powercat Invitational following a score of 7-over par 223... Best 54-hole score of the year was 5-over par 221 at the Westbrook Invitational, helping the Wildcats tie the program's team 54-hole score (840)... Had a season-low round of 71 during the final round of the Westbrook Invitational in addition to the second round of the Puerto Rico Classic... Narrowly missed out on another top-20 finish when she placed 23rd at the MountainView Collegiate.

PRIOR TO K-STATE: Consistently ranked in the top 300 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings (WAGR)... Ranked as high as No. 276 in the world after picking up five victories in WAGR events, including the Campeonato de Castellon in March 2023 with a 54-hole score of 221, an event she also won in 2022... Also tied for first at the Campeonato de Alicante in February 2023 with a score of 208... Capped off her summer of 2023 with a top-20 finish at the European Ladies’ Amateur Championship in Sweden when she tied for 17th with a 72-hole score of 3-over par 287 thanks to a final-round score of 3-under par 68.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Josele Ballester and Sonia Barrio... Has one sibling, Josele... Comes from an athletic family as both parents were Olympians representing Spain... Father, Josele, was a swimmer who also competed at the University of Florida, while her mother, Sonia, won a gold medal for Spain in field hockey... Majoring in nutrition and health.
