Brian Agler came to Kansas State with 10 years of head coaching experience and a history of turning programs around. He led UMKC to unprecedented success and an 85-54 mark in five years. Agler guided the 1994-95 Wildcats to their first winning season in four years. He coached the 1995-96 team to an 11-12 record before being replaced by interim coach Jack Hartman. Agler spent two seasons as the head coach of the Columbus Quest of the ABL and won two ABL Championships in 1997 and 1998. He later spent four seasons as the head coach of the WNBA’s Minnesota Lynx, a stint with the WNBA’s San Antonio Silver Stars, was named the WNBA Coach of the Year in 2010 as the head coach of the Seattle Storm and is the head coach of the WNBA’s Dallas Wings.
