Erin Greenwald is in her fifth season as an athletic trainer at Kansas State and her third season with the women’s basketball program. Prior to joining the K-State women’s basketball support staff, Greenwald served as the K-State track and field and cross country athletic trainer for the previous two seasons.
During her time with the K-State track and field and cross country programs, Greenwald was responsible for the prevention, evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation programs for the Wildcat track and field student-athletes.
Prior to coming to K-State, Greenwald spent seven seasons at Sacramento State including the final two seasons as the head football and baseball athletic trainer. From 2014-19, Greenwald served as an assistant athletic trainer with the football and baseball programs.
Greenwald received her Bachelor of Science in athletic training with a minor in business administration from Florida in 2012. She completed her Master of Science, Kinesiology with a concentration in movement studies from Sacramento State in 2015. As a graduate student, Greenwald worked with the Sacramento State football, baseball, women’s soccer, softball teams.
She is a certified member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA), the Mid America Athletic Trainers’ Association Far West Athletic Trainers Association and Kansas Athletic Trainers Association California Athletic Trainers Association. She is certified in Owens Recovery Science Blood Flow Restriction, myofascial decompression level 1, Tecnia Gavilan Instrument Soft Tissue Mobilization certification and is certified to provide CPR/First Aid/AED use by the American Red Cross.
Greenwald is married to another Wildcat athletic trainer Matt Greenwald. The couple has a son and daughter.
