Started all 28 matches and was one of four players to appear in all 107 sets during the 2021 season … Totaled 1,120 assists and led the Big 12 with 10.47 assists per set, becoming the first Wildcat to lead the conference in the category since 1998 (Disney Bronnenberg) … Voted to the Omaha Challenge All-Tournament Team … Named to CoSIDA Academic All-District Second Team and Academic All-Big 12 First Team … Posted seven double-doubles and set season highs in both assists (61) and digs (17) in a five-set win against Texas Tech on October 27 … Finished with 214 digs (2.00 per set), 64 total blocks (0.60 per set), 63 kills (0.59 per set) and 15 aces (0.14 per set) … Eclipsed the 50-assist mark twice and turned in 40 or more assists 16 times … Season-high 10 points at TCU on October 22, with a season-best seven kills, four block assists and an ace … Recorded multiple service aces three times, with three coming on October 14 against West Virginia … Reached 10 or more digs seven times, with back-to-back matches with double-figure digs twice … Season-best seven blocks in the season opener against Colgate on August 27 … During Big 12 play, averaged 10.50 assists per set, 1.88 digs per set, 0.63 kills per set, 0.50 blocks per set and seven service aces.
2020 (Sophomore)
Played in 40 sets over 13 matches (six starts) in her sophomore season, totaling 346 assists (8.65 per set) and five service aces ... Twice turned in over 50 assists, with a season-high 59 assists coming against Texas State on March 4 ... Added 55 assists in a five-set win over TCU on November 14 ... Both of her 50-assist performances came in double-double efforts, as she registered 17 digs against Texas State and 11 against TCU ... Totaled 65 digs (1.63 per set) and 13 total blocks (0.33 per set) ... Season-high three block assists twice, at Texas Tech (November 6) and vs. TCU (November 14) ... Played in 10 Big 12 matches (32 sets) with 267 assists (6.34 per set), 43 digs (1.34 per set) and 10 blocks (0.31 per set).
2019 (Freshman)
Played in 49 sets during her freshmen campaign and appeared in 15 of 16 conference matches, including the season's final 13 matches ... Ran a 6-2 with Sarah Dixon over the final 10 matches, handing out 185 assists (3.78 per set) to go with 69 digs (1.41 per set) and nine aces during the year ... 155 assists came in the season's final 10 matches (4.31 per set) ... Reached double-digit assists in each of the final 10 matches with a season-best 25 coming in a five-set win over Kansas on Oct. 23 ... Recorded her first double-double on Nov. 2 against TCU, with 22 assists and 10 digs ... Season-high 13 digs came in a five-set loss at Oklahoma on Oct. 16 ... Served up multiple aces twice, with three coming against KU on Oct. 23 ... In conference play, tallied 168 assists (3.65 per set) and 68 digs (1.48 per set) to go with seven service aces.

Earned a spot on USA Volleyball’s Collegiate National Team-Anaheim roster and trained in Anaheim, California, in June 2019.
High School
Adams-Kaonohi was a three-year letterwinner at Punahou School in Honolulu, Hawai'i, and played club volleyball for Rainbows VBC ... A captain her senior season for the Buff 'n Blue, she was named a 2018 Senior Ace by PrepVolleyball.com as one of the top 150 recruits in the nation while twice being named All-State Fab 15 list ... She led her high school and club teams to multiple tournament titles, including a Junior Prep Sports Under-18 tournament championship as a sophomore and Power League Under-18 championship in 2017 ... Graduated high school early and joined the K-State volleyball program in January 2019.
