Barry Brown, Jr. - Men’s Basketball
Brown, Jr., a senior from St. Petersburg, Fla., earned Phillips 66 Big 12 Player of the Week honors for the first time in his career on Monday after posting the game-winner in Kansas State’s victories over West Virginia and No. 20/21 Iowa State last week. The 6-foot-3 shooting guard averaged 26 points on 52.9 percent shooting (18-of-34) and 81.3 percent (13-of-16) from the free throw line to go with 3.0 steals, 2.5 assists, 2.0 rebounds in 37.0 minutes per game in the two wins. He scored 38 of his 52 points in the second half of those games. The Wildcats will travel to face Oklahoma on Wednesday before going back home for TCU on Saturday.

Aaron Booth - Men’s Track & Field
Booth, a junior from Auckland, New Zealand, began his campaign on a high note, winning the men’s long jump in the Wildcat Invitational at Ahearn Field House on Saturday. He recorded a personal best jump of 7.18m/23-06.75 on his fifth attempt. This surpassed his 7.03m/23-00.75 jump last April at the Jim Click Shootout. Later in the day, Booth ran in the men’s 60 meter hurdles and finished with a time of 8.51, good enough for third place. The No. 24 ranked K-State men won the dual competition, defeating North Texas, Arkansas-Pine Bluff, UMKC and Langston. The team will head to Lawrence, Kan., for the KU-KSU-WSU Triangular on Friday.
Kassidy Johnson - Women’s Track & Field
Johnson, a freshman from Wichita, Kan., put herself into K-State history by running the eighth-fastest 1,000 meters in K-State history in the Wildcat Invitational at Ahearn Field House on Saturday. Johnson clocked a 2:51.40 to win the event. Johnson’s 2:51.40 is also the fastest time in the event since 2011, when Boglarka Bozzay ran a 2:45.91 in the event. It was also the Maize South alum’s first meet in a K-State uniform. The No. 28 ranked K-State women won the dual competition, defeating North Texas, UMKC and Arkansas-Pine Bluff. The team will head to Lawrence, Kan., for the KU-KSU-WSU Triangular on Friday.
Peyton Williams - Women’s Basketball
Williams, a junior from Topeka, Kan., averaged 18.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, 3.0 blocks and 2.0 steals in two losses against Baylor and Kansas last week. She led K-State with her eighth double-double of the season in a road defeat at Baylor, scoring 18 points and collecting 10 rebounds. Williams also paced the Wildcats with 19 points and eight rebounds in a home loss to Kansas. She tied her career-high with five blocked shots and also set a new career-high from the free-throw line, finishing 9-of-11 from the stripe. The K-State women will host Texas on Wednesday and then travel to Lubbock, Texas, on Saturday to face Texas Tech.
