Chuda Loses In Consolation Singles Final At the ITA Regional Championships

TULSA, Okla. - Senior Kathy Chuda lost her consolation singles final today at The Omni Hotels Regional Championships at the Tulsa Southern Tennis Club in Tulsa, Okla.
Chuda lost to Dominque Olszewska of Oklahoma State, 6-1, 6-2. With a 4-2 record at the regional championships, Chuda now has a 5-5 record this fall.
In the main draw doubles semifinals, senior Alena Jecminkova and freshman Andrea Cooper lost to Colorado State's Sanja Hansson and Catherine Sullivan, 8-6. The duo had a 3-1 record at the regionals and are now 4-5 this fall.
The Kansas State Wildcats return to action on Nov. 3-4 when they host the Wildcat Doubles Invitational at Cottonwood Country Club.
