Women's Rowing to Hold Intra-Squad Race on Oct. 12

MANHATTAN, Kan. - The American Royal Fall Rowing Classic scheduled fot Oct. 13, has been cancelled this year due to low water. In its place the Kansas State women's rowing team is holding an intra-squad race at Tuttle Creek Lake, on Saturday, Oct. 12 from 7-11 a.m.
The event is open to the public for those that would like to see the 'Cats in action. Those attending will be treated to a number of different races featuring both the Kansas State women's varsity and novice teams. This will be the first and only chance to catch the oarswomen at home during the fall season.
Following the Oct. 12 event, the Wildcats will next be in action at the Head of the Charles in Boston, Mass., on Oct. 19-20.
