Columbia, Mo. - Kansas State finished in sixth place at the Women's Golf Big 12 Championship at the Country Club of Missouri. The Wildcats match last year's best team finish at the conference tournament. The 'Cats shot a 314 in the final round to give them a combined score of 936 (312-310-314).
"It was a tough day," head coach Kristi Knight said. "It was a difficult golf course for us. It has a lot of zig-zags and is just the opposite of Colbert Hills. It would have been nice to move up today, but the team fought hard and did its best."
