Two Surpass Auto Standards During All-Comers

Senior Kaylene Wagner secured K-State’s first automatic qualifying berth in the NCAA Indoor Championships with a height of 6-00.50 to win the women’s high jump. This was Wagner’s first meet as a member of the Wildcats after transferring from Cal Poly before the 2006 season.

Other event winners for K-State on Saturday were: senior Candice Mills in the women’s long jump (19-03.25), senior Monique Coleman set an All-Comers meet record in the 60-meter dash (7.53), sophomore Lauren Fisher in the women’s 400-meter run (59.06), junior Morgan Bonds in the women’s 1,000-meter run (2:56.73) and senior Joe Moore broke a six-year old All-Comers meet record in the 3,000-meter run (8:38.61).
