K-State Prepares for Fall Finale

“We want to build on the positive accomplishments of the last few weeks,” stated head coach Steve Bietau about what he hopes to gain from the final fall matches this season. “Our fall season is pretty short, but we have some players who have made great progress and the results to prove it. More importantly, there has been an overall change in the attitude of the group.”
Representing K-State at the ITA Central Region will be sophomore Antea Huljev and senior Katerina Kudlackova. Huljev enters the week with a 7-3 singles record this fall, winning five of her last seven outings. Kudlackova will look to end a five-match losing skid.
“This will be a chance for them to test themselves with some strong national-level competition,” said Bietau about his two charges at the ITA Central Region Championship.
