Cottin, Doubles Record Solid Performances

The doubles effort for K-State was the best of the season, as the Wildcats captured four of its six matches. The pairing of freshman Masha Slupska and Cottin cruised past Rone’ Van Wyk and Laing of Arkansas State, 8-2. Slupska and Cottin also won in round two on Saturday by defeating Rist and Ball from UMKC, 8-6. The duo has now won three straight doubles matches together and have a 3-1 record in their brief time on the court with each other.
Winning in convincing fashion on Saturday afternoon was the pairing of sophomore Antea Huljev and senior Katerina Kudlackova with an 8-1 win over Lindsey and Horner of UMKC.
Also capturing a doubles win was the tandem of freshmen Petra Chuda and Andrea Straznicka. The duo defeated Yokominich and Titus of UMKC, 8-4, in round one.
