Wildcats Ready for Regional Rowing

K-State finished second in the Big 12 Championship and dominated the water in the day’s biggest race the Varsity 8+. The Wildcats fell to Texas by just three points in the competition.
Preliminary races for the regional begin at 9 a.m. Saturday with K-State set to participate in four events. The Wildcats will field boats in the Novice 8+, Varsity 4+, Second and First Varsity 8+. Teams will be placed into four semifinals dividing the field based on placement in the preliminaries.
Last year K-State fielded three boats with their best finishes coming in the Second Varsity and Novice 8+ events. The Wildcats finished eight in both and also finished 10th in the First Varsity 8+.
