Morris Earns NCBWA All-American Honors

Morris was also named the NCBWA District VI Player of the Year after leading the Wildcats to the school’s first NCAA appearance.
The all-American citation came on the same day that Morris was selected in the fourth round of the 2009 Major League Baseball First Year Player Draft by the Washington Nationals.
The Humble, Texas, native, who also earned first team all-America status from Collegiate Baseball, is the first Wildcat in school history to earn first team all-American honors from two different organizations.
