K-State Travels to Georgia Invite

Action begins on Friday with singles play in the morning and doubles action in the afternoon. Teams participating in the Georgia Invitational are No. 4 Georgia, No. 31 Texas, Troy and Georgia State.
Leading the charge for the Wildcats will be junior Antea Huljev and sophomore Petra Chuda. Huljev concluded the fall campaign with a 7-6 singles record, including a mark of 3-1 in three-set matches.
Chuda tallied a 5-4 record in her second fall slate with the Wildcats. The product of Sokolnice, Czech Republic finished the fall season by winning three of her last four singles matches.
In doubles play, K-State was led in the fall by Huljev and sophomore Nina Sertic. The duo combined for a 7-5 record, including a four-match win streak from Sept. 18 - Sept. 25.
Kansas State begins its spring 2010 dual season on Jan. 30-31 in Des Moines, Iowa. The Wildcats will face Northern Iowa at 4 p.m., on Jan. 30 and Drake at 10 a.m., on Jan. 31.
