Kennan Qualifies for IHSA Nationals

MANHATTAN, Kan. - Kansas State senior Western rider Nicole Keenan qualified for the 2010 IHSA National Championships this weekend after taking top honors in Advanced Horsemanship at the IHSA Semifinal competition at St. Andrews College.
A native of Oakley, Keenan took first place among 14 riders in Advanced Horsemanship to earn a spot at the IHSA National competition to be held May 6-9 in Lexington, Ky.
"I am extremely proud of Nicole for going out on the road these past two weekends and picking up two wins, and she is fully prepared for the National Championship," said head coach Casie Lisabeth.
Keenan originally qualified for IHSA Regionals at K-State's IHSA Western show on February 27 and then went on to take top honors at the regional competition.
