Saturday Baseball Canceled
Apr 24, 2010 | Baseball
COLUMBIA, Mo. - Saturday's baseball game between Kansas State and Missouri has been canceled and will not be made up.
The series was scheduled to begin on Friday at 6 p.m., but was postponed to a doubleheader on Saturday due to rain. Once heavy showers re-entered the Columbia area Saturday morning, the schedule was altered to play a single game at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday and a doubleheader on Sunday.
However, the continuous rain forced the series to turn into a Sunday doubleheader beginning at noon.
The Sunday games can be heard in the Manhattan area on SportsRadio 1350 KMAN and online at either www.1350kman.com or www.k-statesports.com.
