WACO, Texas – Kansas State struggled offensively in the first half and (4/4) Baylor used a 31-point second quarter to send the Wildcats to a 87-52 loss at the Ferrell Center.

The Basics
• Score: (4/4) Baylor 44, Kansas State 19
• Quick Hitter: The Lady Bears (22-1, 9-1 Big 12) handed out 31 assists on 34 made field goals to win its 22nd straight game against K-State.
• Leaders: K-State (14-7, 4-6 Big 12) was led by junior guard Kindred Wesemann with 15 points and junior center Breanna Lewis with 10 points and two blocks. The Lady Bears were led by Khadijiah Cave with 16 points and 15 from Alexis Jones.

First Half
• K-State's first basket came with 5:16 remaining in the first quarter, as Lewis connected on a hook shot. The Wildcats were 2-of-10 from the field in the first six minutes, as Baylor secured a 10-4 lead.
• The Lady Bears used a 9-2 to run to construct a 17-8 at the end of the first quarter. Khadijiah Cave came off the bench for Baylor to add five points during the run. The Wildcats were 0-of-6 from beyond the arc in the opening quarter.
• Baylor used a 22-2 run to start the second quarter to push its lead to 39-10.
• The Wildcats outscored the Lady Bears in the final four minutes of the second quarter, as Wesemann connected on three straight 3-pointers to bring the deficit to 44-19 at the half.
• The 25-point halftime deficit was the largest of the season for K-State.

Second Half
• Baylor opened the third quarter on 14-2 run to increase its lead to 59-23 in the third quarter.
• K-State used a 5-0 run, highlighted by a corner 3-pointer by Kelly Thomson, to pull to within 61-29.
• The Lady Bears closed the quarter on a 14-4 run to secure a 75-33 lead entering the fourth quarter.
• The Wildcats tallied three straight 3-pointers, as Bri Craig, Antoinette Taylor and Thomson all connected to narrow the deficit to 77-43 with 7:12 to play in the fourth quarter.

Game Totals
• Baylor was 34-of-63 from the field to shoot an even 54.0 percent from the floor, while K-State was held to 19-of-62 from the floor for 30.6 percent.
• The Lady Bears outrebounded K-State, 51-26, and tallied 15 second chance points to K-State's nine.
• Both teams finished with 15 turnovers, while Baylor pocketed 14 steals to K-State's eight.

• Baylor leads the series, 27-9, and have won 22 straight in the series.
• The Wildcats are 73-180 (.289) against teams in the Associated Press (AP) poll. K-State is 2-6 (.250) all-time against teams ranked No. 4 in the nation in the AP poll. • K-State's starting lineup of: guards – Megan Deines and Kindred Wesemann; forwards - Kaylee Page and Shaelyn Martin; center - Breanna Lewis.
