LUBBOCK, Texas – In order to take advantage of more favorable weather conditions, the series opener between K-State and No. 22 Texas Tech originally scheduled for today has been postponed and will be made up as a doubleheader on Saturday. The first game of the twinbill is set for 1 p.m. and game two will start at 5 p.m. or 45 minutes after the conclusion of game one.
The series finale for Sunday remains as scheduled for a 12 p.m. start.
All three games can be heard on News Radio KMAN (1350 AM/93.3 FM) or k-statesports.com. They will also be streamed on TexasTech.TV (subscription required).
K-State (12-14, 0-3 Big 12) and Texas Tech (17-8, 5-1 Big 12) are both coming off midweek splits as the Wildcats took one against Omaha and then lost to Oral Roberts in 11 innings. The Red Raiders, meanwhile, went 1-1 against UNLV in Las Vegas on Monday and Tuesday.
