MANHATTAN, Kan. – The Kansas State track and field team will host a four-day summer camp focusing on event-specific skills on June 12-15, 2017, the program has announced.
The camp is directed by assistant coach Vincent Johnson, with support from fellow Wildcat assistant coaches Ryun Godfrey, Greg Watson and Erik Kynard, Jr., as well as current and former K-State student-athletes.
Camp participants will have the opportunity to train in their specific track or field event with the help and guidance of K-State’s nationally renowned staff and student-athletes. Other activities include sports psychology, nutrition and shoe specialization sessions.
Along with a productive four days of learning, residential campers will be housed in residence halls on the K-State campus and meals will be provided by K-State Dining Services.
Cost of the camp is $425 for overnight campers and $325 for day campers. More information on the camp can be found online at the team’s camp homepage, which can be found here.
