MANHATTAN, Kansas – For the second consecutive week, a Kansas State women's soccer student-athlete has received the Big 12 Freshman of the Week award as the league office announced Hannah Davis as the honoree. The forward from Lincoln, Nebraska, broke through to score her first collegiate goal, registering the game-winning goal in the 56th minute at South Dakota on Thursday. Davis redirected a cross from six yards out to send K-State to its second road win of the season.
Against Colorado State on Sunday, Davis was the distributor for the K-State attack. In the 17th minute, Davis assisted on K-State's first goal of the match with a cross to Maddie Souder. She then added an assist on the game-winning goal by Entz in the 95th minute, K-State's first overtime win in program history.
