Cats Seek to Snap Skid Wednesday at Texas Tech

MANHATTAN, Kan. – K-State heads to Lubbock, Texas, seeking to snap its four-match skid against Texas Tech Wednesday night at United Supermarkets Arena at 6 p.m.

K-State (10-5, 0-4 Big 12) has won seven of its last eight meetings with Texas Tech (14-3, 3-0 Big 12), who enters the match having won eight straight and is receiving votes in the latest AVCA Top 25 poll. The Red Raiders won the last meeting in five sets in Lubbock last season.

SCOUTING TEXAS TECH

Texas Tech (14-3, 3-0 Big 12) pushed its winning streak to eight matches following a four-set home win over Iowa State Friday night.
Tech's eight-match winning streak is the longest active streak in the Big 12, equaling K-State's for the league's longest of 2018.
The Red Raiders, who are receiving votes in the latest AVCA Top 25 poll, sit in a tie atop the Big 12 standings with Texas at 3-0 and have won all three of its conference matches in four sets to begin league play.
Wednesday's match will mark TTU's third straight home match, where the Red Raiders are 5-0 on the season.
Sophomore middle blocker Allison White leads the Big 12 with her .403 hitting percentage while fellow middle Katy Keenan is sixth at .339.
Keenan is fourth in the league with 1.33 blocks per set while libero Emerson Solano is third with her 4.23 digs per set.
As a team, Tech allows a league-low .161 opponent hitting percentage while its offense ranks second at .264.
TTU ranks second with 15.38 digs/set and third at 1.26 aces/set.
