MANHATTAN, Kansas - K-State (4-11-2, 0-8-0 Big 12) will end its third season of action on Thursday night, as the Wildcats visit Ames, Iowa, to face Iowa State (3-13-2, 1-6-1). First kick is set for 7 p.m.
• Thursday's match will be available to subscribers on Cyclone.tv. The match will also be broadcast on 101.5 KROCK in Manhattan and free at kstatesports.com.
• K-State will look to snap an eight-match losing streak, which is the longest in program history. The Wildcats will also attempt to end a 13-match skid in Big 12 play dating back to the 2017 season.
Weekend in Review
• Kansas State started its three-match road trip to end the season with a pair of losses to ranked opponents in the state of Texas.
• The Wildcats dropped a tough 1-0 decision at (13) Baylor on October 19. The match was moved from the Betty Lou Mays Soccer Field due to heavy rains in Waco over the last week. The teams instead played on the Baylor football practice fields.
• K-State sent the game to halftime tied at zero. In the 49th minute, Baylor registered the only goal of the match. Redshirt sophomore goalkeeper Emma Malsy made eight saves in the match.
• On Sunday, October 21, at (17) Texas, Kansas State suffered its second 4-0 loss of the season. The Longhorns tallied three second half goals to pull away from the Wildcats.
• K-State has now been shutout a school-record 10 times in the 2018 season.
Cats Place Program-High 14 on Big 12 Academic Teams
• K-State had a program-record 14 student-athletes receive recognition for their excellence in the classroom, including 11 on the first team and three on the second team.
• The 2018 Academic All-Big 12 First Team members were: junior forward Katie Cramer, senior defender Morgan Egan, sophomore midfielder Brookelynn Entz, sophomore defender Avery Green, senior forward Krista Haddock, junior defender Laramie Hall, senior defender Megan Kalkofen, sophomore midfielder Leah Kellogg, sophomore defender Shelby Lierz, redshirt sophomore goalkeeper Emma Malsy and senior midfielder Morgan Mauck.
• Hall, Kalkofen, Kellogg and Lierz each were selected for the team with 4.0 grade point averages.
• Cramer, Haddock, Hall and Kalkofen earned their second career Academic All-Big 12 First Team honors. Egan earned her second career honor and her first citation as a member of the Academic All-Big 12 First Team, as she was selected as a member of the Academic All-Big 12 Second Team in 2017.
• The 2018 Academic All-Big 12 Second Team selections were: sophomore midfielder Maddie Souder, senior forward Tatum Wagner and junior midfielder Ashley Zane.
• This was the second season Zane was named to the Academic All-Big 12 Second Team, while Souder and Wagner earned their first recognitions.
• In its first three seasons of action, Kansas State has now received 27 Academic All-Big 12 citations including 21 first team honors and six second team recognitions.

• Kansas State continues to make improvements as a program, as the Wildcats conclude season three of its brief history.
• The Wildcats have set program records for total shots (227), shots on goal (105), shutouts (6). K-State also tied the program record for home wins (3).
The Road Mostly Traveled
• Since the start of the program in 2016, K-State has played over 25 matches away from Manhattan.
• K-State set a program best three-match road unbeaten streak (1-0-2) this season. The stretch started with a 0-0 draw at San Jose State on September 2, continued with a second 0-0 draw at Indiana and the Wildcats picked up their first win in the stretch with a 3-0 decision at Tulsa on Sept. 16.
• Overall, the Wildcats are 6-18-5 in road matches in their history.
• In the 29 road matches, the Wildcats have been outscored by its opponents, 39-20 (-19).
