
Cats, Huskers Renew Rivalry Tuesday Night

MANHATTAN, Kan. – A series that dates back to 1898, K-State and Nebraska are set to renew their rivalry Tuesday night as they meet at Tointon Family Stadium with first pitch set for 6:30 p.m.
K-State (15-17, 2-7 Big 12) and Nebraska (14-16, 2-6 Big Ten) will meet for the 285th time in their history, with the Cornhuskers leading the all-time series, 171-113. The Huskers have won the last three meetings overall, including taking a home-and-home series last year.
The Wildcats are in the midst of a season-long five-game losing streak after dropping all three games to Oklahoma State over the weekend. Nebraska has lost its last four games and six of its last seven overall.
