
Wildcats, Mountaineers Meet in Morgantown

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – K-State baseball continues its eight-game road swing with a three-game weekend series against the West Virginia Mountaineers beginning Friday at Monongalia County Ballpark.
K-State (16-21, 2-10 Big 12) enters the second half of its Big 12 schedule with the second leg of consecutive weekend road league series. West Virginia (17-17, 2-7 Big 12) will play its second straight home Big 12 series after dropping two of three to Oklahoma State.
The Wildcats are 7-8 all-time against the Mountaineers, dating back to 2012 when they joined the Big 12, and 2-4 on the road in the series. The Cats have outscored WVU 83-81 in the 15 meetings between the clubs.
