K-State's Match vs. TCU Moved to 9 a.m. Thursday

MANHATTAN, Kansas – Due the threat of severe weather and heavy rainfall in the Fort Worth area on Thursday night, TCU Athletics has moved the soccer match between K-State and the Horned Frogs to a 9 a.m. kickoff at Garvey-Rosenthal Stadium. The two squads were originally scheduled to meet at 7 p.m.
K-State and TCU are meeting for the third time. Thursday's match will be still be carried live on 101.5 KROCK in Manhattan and for free on kstatesports.com and through the K-State Sports app. The original TV broadcast on FOX Sports Southwest+ has been canceled.
Fans will be treated to breakfast tacos, donuts and a free water when they enter the stadium.
Thursday's match is the first of two this weekend for the Wildcats, who will also welcome West Virginia to Buser Family Park for the home regular season finale at 1 p.m. Sunday. Sunday's match will feature a pre-game ribbon cutting for Buser Family Park and a post-game celebration of the 2019 seniors: Katie Cramer, Laramie Hall, Emma Malsy, Aly Rocha and Ashley Zane. The entire weekend is also Alumni Weekend, as K-State's soccer alums from the previous three seasons are invited to return for the weekend.
