Evan Marshall, Chicago White Sox
Marshall was named to Chicago's initial 44-man active roster ahead of the 60-game 2020 Major League Baseball season. Marshall, who will be on the team's Opening Day roster, pitched a perfect inning of relief in a 5-3 win in an exhibition game with the Cubs on Monday. Marshall is coming off a career year in 2019 with the White Sox, going 4-2 with a career-best 2.49 ERA in 55 relief appearances. He logged a career-high 50 2/3 innings while striking out 41 batters to go with a 1.30 WHIP.  Marshall made his MLB debut in 2014 with the Arizona Diamondbacks and has spent time with the Seattle Mariners and Cleveland Indians. Marshall was a fourth-round pick of the Diamondbacks in 2011.
 
Nick Martini, Philadelphia Phillies
Martini was selected to the Phillies' 60-man Summer Camp roster ahead of the shortened 2020 MLB season. On July 18, Martini was sent to the Phillies' Alternate Training Site in Allentown, Pa., to be part of the team's player pool for the taxi squad. Martini, who spent time with both the Oakland A's and San Diego Padres in 2019, was a non-roster invitee to spring training by the Phillies. In 2019, Martini hit .226 with a home run, four doubles and 14 runs batted in with the A's and Padres. The former Wildcat played 70 games for Triple-A Las Vegas, posting a .328/.432/.482 slash line with eight homers and 42 RBI last season. The former All-American outfielder was a seventh-round selection of the St. Louis Cardinals in 2011.

Chris Ceballos, Amarillo Sod Squad (Texas Collegiate League)
Playing for the Amarillo (Texas) Sod Squad of the Texas Collegiate League, Ceballos has posted a slash line of .167/.400/.167 in seven games. Ceballos went 2 for 5 with an RBI in a 10-8 win on July 7 vs. the Tulsa Drillers. On the year, he has walked five times and scored twice. The Sod Squad are 11-7 and tied for first in the North Division standings.
 
Kasey Ford, Perfect Timing Red (Perfect Timing College League)
Playing for Perfect Timing Red of the Perfect Timing College League in Springdale, Arkansas, Ford posted a 1-0 record with a 1.54 ERA in four starts. A PT League All-Star, Ford tossed three hitless innings while racking up six strikeouts in his last start on July 6. Tyler Eckberg, Mankato MoonDogs (Northwoods League)
