Evan Marshall, Chicago White Sox
Marshall has appeared eight times for the Chicago White Sox in 2020, totaling eight innings and 12 strikeouts with an ERA of 1.13. His scoreless streak was snapped on August 9 at 17 2/3 innings, dating back to last season. Marshall allowed his first earned run of the season against the Cleveland Indians, ending his career-best streak, allowing one run on a hit in an inning of work. On July 18, Martini was sent to the Phillies' Alternate Training Site in Allentown, Pa., to be part of the team's player pool for the taxi squad. Martini, who spent time with both the Oakland A's and San Diego Padres in 2019, was a non-roster invitee to spring training by the Phillies. In 2019, Martini hit .226 with a home run, four doubles and 14 runs batted in with the A's and Padres.
