IOWA CITY, Iowa – Rain and snow didn't stop the Kansas State men and women's cross country teams from posting strong performances at the NCAA Midwest Regional on Friday (November 12) in Iowa City, Iowa at the Ashton Cross Country Course.
The women's team placed 6th overall with 243 points, their best finish since 2010. On the men's side, the Wildcats finished 11th with 332 points, defeating Big 12 rival Kansas by 94 points.
In the women's 6k race, Minnesota was the overall team winner with 45 points followed by Oklahoma State in second place with 75 points.
