Women's Cross Country NCAA Championship History
The cross country programs at Kansas State have a long and storied history with the Wildcat women competing as a team at the NCAA Championships on 12 occasions (1982, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2010) with an all-time best finish as a fifth-place finish in 1999. The team also competed in 4 of the 5 AIAW Championships (1976, 1977, 1978, 1979), which was the precursor to the NCAA Championships and ran from 1976-80.
