
K-State Adds Myers, Singh to 2023 Roster

MANHATTAN, Kansas – K-State soccer head coach Mike Dibbini has added a pair of transfers to the 2023 roster, as the Wildcats have signed midfielder Lydia Myers and forward Kiran Singh.
Myers will join the Wildcats as a junior and comes to Manhattan from Texas A&M Commerce. During her first two seasons of collegiate soccer, the Colbert, Washington, product played in 32 matches with 13 starts and logged 1,357 minutes (42.4 mpg). She tallied two goals, three assists and seven points and registered 14 shots with six on goal.
In the 2022 season, Myers played in all 16 matches with six starts and 612 minutes played. She attempted two shots with one on goal.
In the 2021 season, Myers played in all 16 matches with seven starts with 745 minutes of action in her debut season. Myers registered two goals, three assists and seven points. She fired off 12 shots with five shots on goal. Myers notched her first career goal against Oklahoma Baptist on Sept. 14 and then tallied a goal and two assists against Oklahoma Christian on Nov. 6.
Singh comes to K-State from UTSA and will be senior in 2023. In her first three seasons of collegiate soccer, Singh played in 50 matches with 42 starts for the Roadrunners and carded 3,099 minutes played (62.0 mpg). She tallied nine goals, including one game-winner, eight assists and 26 total points while firing off 81 shots with 36 shots on goal.
In the 2022 season, Singh played in 20 matches with 18 starts and tallied a career-high 1,373 minutes played. The 2022 United Soccer Coaches All-South Region Second Team helped the Roadrunners to the 2022 NCAA Tournament and the Conference USA title by scoring in the C-USA title game. Singh registered career-highs and led UTSA with seven goals, six assists and 20 points. She established career-highs with 45 shots and 18 shots on goal and tallied a .400 shots on goal percentage.
In the 2021 season, Singh played in all 19 games with 15 starts and played 1,061 minutes. She carded first two goals of her career and dished an assist while firing off 27 shots with 14 on target.
In her freshman season in 2020, she played in 11 matches with nine starts and logged 662 minutes played. Singh recorded her first career assist and posted nine shots with four on goal.
K-State concluded its seventh season of action by making its first appearance in the Big 12 Soccer Championship and tying the school record for wins in a season with six.
