Feb 04, 2022 | Track & Field
LINCOLN, Neb. – The first day of the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational on Friday (February 4) was a success for the Kansas State track and field team, as senior Alex Ferguson (women's 600 meters) and sophomore Monique Hardy (women's weight throw) clinched first-place finishes in their respective events at the Bob Devaney Sports Center.
"I thought the women in the 600 ran strongs," stated Director of Track and Field and Cross Country Cliff Rovelto. "They will both run in the 4x400 tomorrow. We had a couple qualify for the finals in the 60-meter dash and 60-meter hurdles. The women's weight throw was pretty solid as well.
