Cats, #25 Cyclones Meet at Morgan Family Arena Wednesday

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Kansas State returns to Morgan Family Arena for a midweek matchup, as the Wildcats face No. 25 Iowa State with first serve scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The Wildcats (9-6, 3-3 Big 12) recorded their first victory over a ranked opponent in the Mansfield era in week seven action after taking down Baylor in five-sets.
Two Wildcats reached new milestones in the Cats last outing against the Bears as Sydney Bolding reached her 300th career block and Mackenzie Morris her 1,500th dig. Morris now ranks fifth overall and fourth in the rally-scoring era with 1,515 digs.
No. 25 Iowa State (13-3, 4-1 Big 12) is coming of a straight-set home victory over Texas Tech, 25-21, 25-23, 25-17. The Cyclones lead the all-time series 59-43, while K-State is 24-22 when playing at home.
At 3-3 in conference action, K-State ties sixth in the Big 12 standings alongside No. 16 KU (12-4, 3-3 Big 12).

- Redshirt-sophomore Maya Duckworth was named to the All-Big 12 Preseason Team as the Cyclones were picked seventh in the team polls
