FROM THE COURT
Head Coach Jordan Smith
On continuing to play on day three of competition…
"Another solid day on the courts for the Cats. Pretty proud of this group for continuing to push their limits. A lot of ladies got back to work after some losses yesterday and added to our wins in singles. Getting better and better every match."
On the individual and group success…
"Got off to a good start picking up two doubles wins this morning. Jill and Charlotte picked up their third in the tournament on the weekend. Glad to see them excelling as a young team together. Aleen and Maria got back on track and pulled out a tough doubles win. Vanesa and Manami put up a great performance in the main draw against a quality team. Manami, Vanesa, Charlotte, Jill and Teri responded well from yesterday. Great to see their focus and energy out there today. They represented us well and got four wins. Veronika kept it going this morning picking up a ranked win in singles. Came up short in the fourth round but really happy with how well she's done for K-State in her short time here. Have some more matches tomorrow to go before we finish up our trip tomorrow."
