
K-State Start the Spring Season at Home, Hosting 10 Matches in 2024

The spring season starts on Saturday, Jan. 20 at Mike Goss Tennis Stadium
MANHATTAN, Kan.- K-State women's tennis coach Jordan Smith announced on Friday (Dec. 1) the 2024 spring schedule, starting the season on Saturday, Jan. 20, at Body First Tennis Center and Mike Goss Tennis Stadium along with nine more home matches.
The Wildcats will start the spring by hosting Drake on Jan. 20 at Body First Tennis Center. The next weekend the team travels to Wichita, Kan. on Friday, Jan. 26 in a match up against Wichita State before facing South Dakota at home on Sunday, Jan. 28.
K-State will then compete in consecutive tournaments, first in Denver, Colo. on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 2-3 against Denver and Iowa before heading to Tuscaloosa, Ala. to face hosting Alabama on Friday, Feb. 9 and Indiana on Sunday, Feb. 11.
Back in Manhattan for the next three matches, the 'Cats will face one more non-conference opponent, Fordham, on Saturday, Feb. 17 before Big 12 conference play starts on Friday, March 1 against Iowa State and Sunday, March 3 against Kansas.
Facing all four new conference members this season, the team will travel to Provo, Utah first to face BYU on Thursday, March 7 before heading to Lubbock, Texas on Saturday, March 9 to play Texas Tech.
Baylor will come into town on Friday, March 15 before facing TCU on Sunday, March 17. The Wildcats will be on the road to visit last seasons Big 12 runner-up Oklahoma on Friday, March 22 in Norman, Okla. before battling against the 2023 champions Texas in Austin on Sunday, March 24.
Cincinnati is the only Big 12 newcomer to make a trip to Manhattan on Thursday, March 28 before the 'Cats face West Virginia on Saturday, March 30. K-State will head to Orlando, Fla. for the first match up against UCF on Friday, April 5 then to Houston, Texas on Sunday, April 7.
There will be one more non-conference opponent, Louisiana Tech, for the last match up at Mike Goss Tennis Stadium on Friday, April 12 before the Wildcats head to Stillwater, Okla. to face Oklahoma State on Sunday, April 14.
The 2024 Big 12 Championship will be hosted by the Cowgirls in Stillwater starting on Wednesday, April 17 at Greenwood Tennis Center.
