MANHATTAN, Kansas – Kansas State soccer head coach Mike Dibbini has added midfielder Jayce Woodward to the Wildcat roster for the 2024 season.
"We are very excited to add Jayce to our program," stated Dibbini. "With a strong core of returners, Jayce will add so much value in the attacking midfield role and help unlock us offensively. She has the ability to create her own shot and find key passes on the dribble. We are looking forward to her experience in our program and for her to impact us immediately."
Woodward, a product of Seattle, Washington, played the previous two seasons at USC. During her time with the Trojans, Woodward saw action in 10 games and logged 152 minutes. She tallied three shots including two on goal.
During her prep career, Woodward scored 57 goals and recorded 26 assists in three full varsity seasons with Seattle Preparatory. She was a two-time conference MVP and Gatorade State Player of the Year nominee and played in the High School All-American Game in 2022.
Woodward earned All-Metro League first team honors all four years with the Panthers and was the conference MVP and named to the All-State team as a junior and senior.
During her club career, Woodward spent time with Crossfire, the Seattle Reign club systems before playing with Pac Northwest from 2019-22. She was named to the ECNL All-Conference team in 2021 and played in National Selection games in 2020 and 2022. She also has participated in U.S. Youth National Team camps at the U-19 and U-15 levels.
