MANHATTAN, Kan. – K-State baseball will host a fall exhibition against Iowa Western in addition to its annual ALS Halloween Game and Fall World Series at Tointon Family Stadium, sixth-year head coach Pete Hughes announced Wednesday.
The Wildcats' exhibition contest against Iowa Western is slated for 2 p.m. on Friday, October 13.
Additionally, the Wildcats will put on their annual ALS Awareness Halloween Game on Monday, October 30. The event, a staple in the program's 19 Ways, is a fun, family friendly event to help raise money and awareness of ALS. Players and staff will dress in costume for an entertaining game of baseball. Fans are also encouraged to dress in costume.
The annual Fall World Series, a three-game intrasquad series, will take place November 3-5. Game times for the Cats' Fall World Series will be announced at a later date.
The entire fall schedule at Tointon Family Stadium will feature free admission.
K-State returns 20 letterwinners from last season's team that went 35-24 – its highest win total since 2013 – while advancing to the semifinal round of the Big 12 Baseball Championship for the third consecutive season.
