K-State Adjusts Match Time Against UTSA

MANHATTAN, Kansas – Due to the continued heat in the Manhattan area, K-State Athletics officials have adjusted the match time for its home opener at Buser Family Park on Thursday night to 8 p.m.
Much of the state of Kansas is under an Excessive Heat Warning until Thursday evening. According to the National Weather Service, temperatures in Manhattan are forecasted to hit 104 on Thursday.
Thursday's match against UTSA is National Waffle Day, as K-State students will be treated to a free waffle bar on the south pavilion above the student section. The first 300 K-State students will also receive a free K-State Soccer t-shirt.
K-State (1-0-1) opened the 2023 season with its first unbeaten weekend to begin a season since 2018, as the Wildcats secured a 4-1 win at Green Bay in the opener and a 0-0 draw at 18th-ranked Northwestern.
