K-State’s Brown Named to 2024 All-Big 12 Second Team

MANHATTAN, Kan. – K-State junior defender Jazmin Brown has added some hardware to her trophy case, as she has been named to the 2024 All-Big 12 Second Team by the league's coaches.
Brown is the second Wildcat in the nine-season history of the program to garner All-Big 12 honors, joining Brookelynn Entz (2019, 2020 and 2021). She is the first K-State defender to earn a postseason honor.
The product of Gilbert, Arizona, played in all 18 matches with 17 starts. She logged a team-best 1,450 minutes of playing time. Brown ended the season with nine shots, with five on goal.
Brown helped the K-State defense log four shutouts and 16 halves without allowing a goal.
In her career, Brown ranks fourth in school history for minutes played (4,541) and tied for fifth for matches started (53).
The Wildcats finished the 2024 season with a 3-12-3 overall record.
