MANHATTAN, Kansas - (13/12) K-State (9-1) completes its four-game in seven-day stretch with a trip to Texas A&M (5-4) on Sunday evening at 3 p.m. This will be K-State's first visit to College Station since February 2012.

1. Win 200 on Deck for Mittie
• With K-State's next win, head coach Jeff Mittie will collect the 200th win of his K-State tenure. Mittie would join Deb Patterson (350) and Judy Akers (206) as the only K-State coaches to win 200 or more games with the Wildcats.
2. Lee Sets K-State Scoring Record
• Senior center and 2024-25 Preseason Big 12 Player of the Year Ayoka Lee needs is the new K-State career scoring leader with 2,336 points and ranks 10th in Big 12 history. Lee also owns the K-State career record for scoring average at 19.1 points per game.
3. Lock Down
• K-State leads the Big 12 and ranks fourth in the nation in field goal percentage defense (.317). The Wildcats have held four foes under 30.0 percent from the field.
4. Assistance Available
• K-State leads the nation for assists per game (23.5) and third in the nation for assist/turnover ratio (2.01). The Wildcats have registered an assist on 68.5 percent of its made field goals this season, which ranks 10th in the nation. 
5. Glenn Closing in on 1K Club
• With 50 points, senior guard Jaelyn Glenn would become the 46th player in program history to score 1,000 or more points during their time at K-State. Glenn would join current teammates Ayoka Lee (2,336 pts) and Serena Sundell (1,390 pts) on the list. When Glenn reaches the mark, she would be the fourth active player on the roster with 1,000 or more career points with Lee, Sundell and Temira Poindexter (1,673 pts; 1,560 at Tulsa).

• With its 86-point margin of victory over USC Upstate on Dec. 5, K-State set the school record for margin of victory.
• This was the largest margin of victory in a Big 12 game this season and the largest by a Big 12 team since Texas carded a 95-point win over New Orleans on Nov. 9, 2021.
• Since the 2009-10 season, this was tied for the 10th largest margin of victory in a game.

At a Glance: Texas A&M
• Texas A&M (5-4) won its second straight game and third in its last five with a 57-45 home victory over Syracuse on Wednesday.
• On the sideline, the Aggies are led by third-year head coach Joni Taylor. Taylor, a 2002 graduate of Alabama, has registered a record of 33-37 (.471) during her time in College Station which includes a trip to the 2024 NCAA Tournament.
• On the floor, Texas A&M is led by Aicha Coulibaly and Sahara Jones.
• Coulibaly, a redshirt senior guard from Bamako, Mali, leads the Aggies with 12.0 points and is second on the squad in rebounding (6.1) and assists (2.3 apg). Against Syracuse, Coulibaly tallied 11 points and nine rebounds.
• Jones, a grad student guard from San Antonio, Texas, is second on the team in scoring (11.7) and paces the team in rebounding (6.8).

Wildcats' Defense Forges Identity
• K-State continues to be a force on the defensive end during head coach Jeff Mittie's 11 seasons on the bench.
• This season, K-State is holding opponents to 50.3 points per game on a .317 field goal percentage. The Wildcats rank third in the Big 12 and ninth in the nation in scoring defense and paces the Big 12 and ranks fourth in the nation in field goal percentage defense.
• The Wildcats held USC Upstate on Dec. 5 to 24 points on a 21.4 field goal percentage. The 24 points were the fewest allowed in the Jeff Mittie era and the fewest since holding Dartmouth to 20 points on Nov. 12, 2011.
• The 21.4 field goal percentage allowed was the lowest since holding Cincinnati to a 20.0 field goal percentage on Dec. 30, 2023.
• During the last 21 seasons, K-State is 142-3 (.979) when holding an opponent to 49 points or less including a 61-0 mark in the Mittie era. During Mittie's tenure K-State has held 20 opponents to 40 or fewer points.
• Under Mittie, K-State is 133-15 (.899) when holding its foes to 60 points or less including a 53-3 (.946) record over the last four seasons.
• In the 2023-24 season, K-State held opponents to 57.9 points per game and a field goal percentage of .362. 
• The Wildcats led the Big 12 and were 17th in the nation for field goal percentage defense, were third in the Big 12 and rank 40th in the nation for scoring defense and were second in the Big 12 and 12th in the nation for 3-point field goal percentage defense (.266). According to HerHoopStats, K-State is sixth in the nation and second in the Big 12 in opponent points per 100 possessions (80.2).
• K-State's field goal percentage defense ranked third in program history since the 1981-82 season and fifth overall in program history.
• The 21 games holding foes to 60 points or less last season were the most since the 2010-11 season (21; 18-3). In total, K-State owns eight seasons in its history of 21 or more games holding opponents to 60 points or less.

K-State Holds Foes to Single-Digits
• In the 10th season of the quarter system in women's college basketball, K-State's defense has limited its opponents point production for 10 minute durations.
• Kansas State is 102-29 (.779) when holding an opponent to single digits in any quarter in a game.
• K-State has held foes to 13 quarters this season with single-digits. The Wildcats are 8-0 when holding an opponent to single digits in any quarter in a game. 
• Against USC Upstate on Dec. 5, K-State held the Spartans to two points in two different quarters (first and fourth quarters). The 2 points in a quarter tied the school record for
• K-State held USC Upstate to 11 points in the second half (9 pts - 3rd qtr; 2 pts - 4th qtr). The 11 points in the second half were the fewest K-State allowed since holding Clemson on Nov. 24, 2022, to 9 second half points.
• In the 2023-24 season, K-State held its opponents to 25 quarters with single digits. The Wildcats were 16-1 last season when holding an opponent to single digits in any quarter of a game.
• At Baylor on Jan. 22, the Wildcats held the Bears to 16 points in the second half allowing eight points in both the third and fourth quarters. This was the first time in 10 years that Baylor was held under 20 points in the second half of a game.

Sharing is Caring
• K-State remains unselfish in its play to open the 2024-25 season.
• The Wildcats are averaging 23.5 assists per game and own an assist percentage of 68.5. K-State leads the nation for assists per game and third for assist/turnover ratio (2.01).
• The Wildcats have handed out 20 or more assists in eight games this season including a season-high 30 assists on 37 made field goals against DePaul on Nov. 27. The 30 assists were the most since carding 30 against UIW on Dec. 3, 2019.
• Over the last 17 years, the Wildcats are 100-8 (.926) when handing out 20 or more assists.
• K-State continued to share the ball in the 2023-24 season. The Wildcats handed out a school record 631 assists (18.6 apg) and owned an assist to turnover ratio of 1.31. K-State tallied an assisted shot rate of 68.2. 
• K-State was third in the Big 12 and 12th in the nation for assists per game and were second in the league and ranked sixth in the nation for assisted shot rate. K-State led the Big 12 and ranked 18th in the nation for assist to turnover ratio.
• K-State's assisted shot rate of 68.2 percent was the third-highest in the Mittie era. Since assists became an officially tracked stat in 1981-82, K-State has registered an assisted shot rate of 60.0 percent or higher at the end of a season 24 times in its history.
• Serena Sundell (189) and Gabby Gregory (114) combined for 303 assists in the 2023-24 season, which was second in school history for combined assists by two K-State players in a season.

Wildcats Solid From the Arc
• K-State has opened the 2024-25 season with a barrage from deep.
• For the season, K-State is shooting 38.5 percent (87-of-226) from 3-point range. The Wildcats rank second in the Big 12 in 3-point field goal percentage. K-State is receiving 29.5 percent of its total points (261 points) from made 3-point field goals this season.
• The Wildcats registered a season-high 13 connections from 3-point range against USC Upstate on Dec. 5.
• K-State has made 10 or more 3-pointers in three straight games for the first time since the 2012-13 season.
• In the Jeff Mittie era, the Wildcats have made five or more 3-pointers in a game 239 times in 335 total games including 42 games with 10 or more connections (w-l: 36-6) from deep.
• In the 11 seasons under Mittie, K-State has buried 2,061 three-pointers which is 6.15 per game.
• In the 2023-24 season, K-State shot 31.4 percent (218-of-694) from 3-point range. K-State's 218 made 3-pointers (6.4 per game) represents 26.8 percent of its point total. This was the highest 3-point field goal percentage since 2016-17.
• The 2023-24 Wildcats were the fourth team in program history to have five or more players make 20 or more 3-pointers in a season. When combined with the effort of the 2022-23 season, this marks the first time in program history K-State recorded consecutive seasons with five or more players on the roster making 20 or more 3-pointers in a season.

Triple the Fun for Sundell
• Serena Sundell put her versatility on display in K-State's win over USC Upstate on Dec. 5.
• Sundell became the fifth player in program history and the first since Shalee Lehning (March 7, 2009) to register a triple-double. Sundell finished with 26 points, 13 assists and 10 rebounds.
• The product of Maryville, Missouri, registered the most points in a triple-double in program history. She also tallied the highest number of assists in a K-State triple-double and the most assists in a triple-double in the nation in 2024-25.
• Sundell was the first Big 12 player to pocket a triple-double since the 2022-23 and the 11th league player to grab a triple-double since at least the 2009-10 season.

Hoppin' Maupin
• Eliza Maupin has been a spark off the bench during her time with the Wildcats.
• Against USC Upstate on Dec. 5, Maupin tallied a perfect night of 15 points on 6-of-6 shooting and 3-of-3 from the foul line. Against Little Rock, she registered 10 points on 5-of-6 shooting with eight rebounds. 
• In her career, Maupin owns 11 career games with 10 or more points and 14 career games with five or more rebounds. 
• In the 11 games in which she has scored in double figures, Maupin is shooting 77.5 percent from the field (55-of-71).
• This season, the forward from Webster Groves, Missouri, is averaging 5.4 points per game and 3.8 rebounds per game.
• Maupin registered a pair of perfect efforts from the field during the 2023-24 season.
• At Baylor on Jan. 22, 2024, Maupin recorded 16 points with a 6-of-6 effort from the field and hauled in nine rebounds.
• At Texas on Feb. 4, 2024, she carded a career-high 18 points on 7-of-7 shooting.
• In the 2023-24 season, Maupin averaged 4.0 points on a career-best .687 field goal percentage and 2.3 rebounds. She tallied three games with 10 or more points.
