Wildcats Host Last Two Big 12 Opponents, Cincinnati and West Virginia

K-State competes Thursday at 4 p.m. at Mike Goss Tennis Stadium
MANHATTAN, Kan.- The K-State women's tennis team will host the last Big 12 opponents of the season with Cincinnati on Thursday (March 28) and West Virginia on Saturday (March 30) at Mike Goss Tennis Stadium.

#75 K-State (7-9, 1-6 Big 12) will compete midweek on Thursday against the Cincinnati Bearcats (7-8, 1-6 Big 12) at 4 p.m.

On Saturday at 12 p.m. the Wildcat will face the West Virginia Mountaineers (13-6, 2-5 Big 12).

K-State has faced the Bearcats just once in 2019, victorious 4-0 in Manhattan.

The Cats are 7-1 in the last seven years against the Mountaineers, losing for the first time last season in Morgantown, W.V., 4-2.

In the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) rankings released on Tuesday (March 26) K-State jumped back into the rankings at no. 75. The team was previously ranked no. 65 on March 5.

The Wildcats were on the road last weekend, traveling to Oklahoma and Texas, the team being shutout 4-0 in both matches, leading to the first losing record of the season.
