FROM THE TRACK
Senior Kade McCall
On his goal of reaching 70 meters in the hammer throw...
"I was feeling really excited for when I hit the [70] mark. 70 meters has been a goal of mine for a while now and I feel so relieved to have finally hit over 70. And I even hit 71.87 which is really close to 72 so I'm very excited for what's to come for the rest of the year. I was happy with just my third attempt of 69.52 was already a PR, but I was just so close to 70 that I had to put it into another gear on my throws and I just let it loose and have fun and trust my technique."
