
K-State Places 16 on Academic All-Big 12

MANHATTAN, Kan. – K-State soccer saw 16 student-athletes earn Academic All-Big 12, including four honorees with 4.00 GPAs in an announcement by the league office.
In its nine seasons of action, Kansas State has now received 116 Academic All-Big 12 citations including 105 first team honors.
K-State's 16 student-athletes on the Academic All-Big 12 First Team were: senior Adah Anderson, redshirt sophomore Ally Brown, junior Jazmin Brown, junior Paige Dickson, junior Jericho Frigon, junior Khaliana Garrett, senior Kenzi Gillispie, junior Sophie Harlan, senior Porter List, junior Andra Mohler, sophomore Anna Pagano, sophomore Jo Sees, junior Sophie Simmons, senior Kiran Singh, sophomore Morgan Struttmann and sophomore Reece Walrod.
Anderson, Ally Brown, Dickson and Walrod each were selected for the team with 4.0 grade point averages.
Anderson, Gillispie and List collected their third career Academic All-Big 12 honor, while Dickson, Garrett, Harlan, Mohler and Simmons earned their second.
To qualify student-athletes must maintain a 3.00 GPA or higher either cumulative or the two previous semesters and must have participated in 60 percent of her team's scheduled contests. Freshmen and transfers are not eligible in their first year of academic residence. Senior student-athletes who have participated for a minimum of two years and meet all the criteria except percent of participation are also eligible.
