1. Wildcats Set 3-point Record
• During its 95-92 win over Columbia on Thursday, K-State broke the school record for 3-point field goals made in a game with a 17-of-26 effort (.654). The 17 three-pointers are tied for the second-most in the nation this season.
2. Sides with Rare Line
• Since 2009-10, junior guard Taryn Sides became the fifth player in Big 12 history and the second Wildcat to record 30 or more points, eight or more 3-point field goals made and five or more assists in a game. Sides joins Brittany Chambers, as the only Wildcats to reach these numbers in a game (vs. Texas Southern, 3/21/13).
3. Head of the Claessens
• In her three games since returning from playing two games with the Belgian Senior National Team, junior forward Nastja Claessens is averaging 15.0 points on a .594 (19-of-32) field goal percentage and 4.3 rebounds.
4. Harrod Gets Offensive
• Freshman guard/forward Brandie Harrod has pulled in 26 offensive rebounds this season. Among freshmen, Harrod is fourth in the nation for total offensive rebounds and leads all Big 12 freshmen in offensive boards.
5. Points Stuck in Neutral
• With its 95 points against Columbia on Thursday, K-State registered its highest point total in a game played at a neutral site since at least the 1999-00 season. K-State's previous high was 93 against Georgia State on Dec. 29, 2001, in Baltimore, Maryland, and against Northern Arizona on Nov. 25, 2022, in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.

• Against Columbia on Nov. 27, K-State tallied a 3-point percentage of 65.4 percent (17-of-26). 
• This was the highest 3-point field goal percentage in NCAA Division I this season that has made 17 or more 3-point field goals in a game. 
• The 65.4 percent effort was a team season-high from beyond the arc and was K-State's highest on 20 or more attempts since shooting 70.0 percent (14-of-20) against UCF on February 15, 2025.
• K-State is the only team in the nation this season to make 65.0 percent of its 3-point attempts on 25 or more attempts.

• North Carolina (6-1) opened action at the 2025 Cancun Challenge with an 83-48 win over South Dakota State on Thursday.
• The Tarheels are guided on the sideline by eighth-year head coach Courtney Banghart. The 2000 graduate of Dartmouth owns a career record of 385-168 (.696) including a 131-65 (.668) record in Chapel Hill.
• North Carolina features four players averaging double figures in scoring and paced by Nyla Brooks and Indya Nivar. Brooks is averaging 12.1 points on a .465 field goal percentage including a .415 effort from long range. Against South Dakota State, Brooks tallied 14 points on 5-of-10 shooting including 4-of-7 from distance.
• Nivar is averaging 12.0 points on a .480 field goal percentage, 6.3 rebounds and a team-leading 3.0 assists. Against the Jackrabbits, Nivar registered a triple-double with 13 points, 12 rebounds, 10 steals, five assists and two blocks.
 
K-State in Mexico
• Kansas State will make its sixth appearance in Mexico for a Thanksgiving holiday tournament and its fifth in Cancun.
• K-State is 3-8 (.273) in games played in Mexico, including a 2-8 mark in Cancun. Head coach Jeff Mittie owns an all-time record of 6-6 in games played in Mexico, including a 3-3 mark in Cancun. Mittie is 3-2 at K-State in games played in Mexico.
 
Wildcats in Nail-Biters
• Kansas State owns an all-time record in overtime games of 32-30 (.516), including a 28-25 (.528) record in single overtime games and a 3-6 (.333) record in double overtime games.
• The Wildcats were 2-0 last season in overtime games with wins over Iowa State (1/30/25) and at Kentucky (3/23/25).
• Over the last 12 seasons, K-State is 51-36 (.586) in games decided by five points or less including a 2-3 mark this season.
• With its comeback win at SMU on Nov. 8, it was K-State's first win when trailing entering 4th quarter since a 73-64 (ot) win on Feb. 21, 2024, against West Virginia, ending a seven-game losing streak when trailing entering the final frame.
