Wildcats Open Home Slate Against William & Mary

MANHATTAN, Kan. – After 11 games away from home to open the 2025 season, K-State baseball will begin its home slate with a three-game series against William and Mary starting on Friday at 3 p.m. at Tointon Family Stadium. The second game of the series is set for Saturday at 4 p.m. with the series finale on Sunday at 11 a.m.
The Wildcats (6-5) will send senior Jacob Frost to the mound for the series opener for the third straight weekend, while lefty Michael Quevedo (2-0) will get the nod on Saturday. Lincoln Sheffield (2-1) is scheduled to start Sunday's series finale.
Maximus Martin, who went 6-for-12 with a 1.404 OPS last weekend, was voted the Big 12 Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday afternoon. The junior transfer from Georgia State is the second Wildcat to garner a weekly award, joining Sheffield, who picked up Co-Newcomer of the Week honors last week.  Â
