Smith Adds Five Women to 2025-26 Roster

Seven Wildcats will compete in fall competition to end the year
MANHATTAN, Kan.- K-State women's tennis head coach Jordan Smith announced on Tuesday (September 16) the addition of five women to the Wildcats team for the 2025-26 season. Martaa Chogsomjav, Margaret Jaraczewski and Diana Smolinska, as well as walk-ons Addison Renfro and Mallory Renfro, will start fall competition this month.

Chogsomjav hails from Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, and is the sister of K-State junior Maralgoo. In Malaysia this June, she competed in the Billie Jean King Cup in the Asia/Oceania Group II where she totaled four singles win in the main draw and was victorious in three doubles matches with her sister. This year Martaa also competed in two International Tennis Federation (ITF) junior tournaments. In February at the J60 in Kathmandu, Nepal, she advanced to the final match after four straight set victories against her opponents.

Jaraczewski is an incoming junior from Argyle, Texas. Transferring from Samford University, she went 9-11 in singles matches during the 2024-25 season and 12-7 in doubles play. She played primarily in the no. 2 spot in singles action with a 7-6 record and had the most success playing with Hailey Troup in doubles at 9-6. During Jaraczewski's freshman campaign she was 12-8 in the no. 5 spot, 4-2 against Southern Conference (SoCon) competition.

Smolinska is an incoming freshman hailing from Kharkiv, Ukraine. In 2025 she competed in both ITF women's and junior tournaments, collecting a 7-5 record in singles matches. In Smolinska's first junior tournament of the year in January at the J30 in Trnava, Slovakia, she reached the main draw quarterfinal round before falling in straight sets.

Twins Addison and Mallory are Salina, Kan., natives who graduated from Salina Central High School in May. During KSHSAA state competition in October 2024 the duo finished 3rd in doubles play. Both of them amassed 100 singles wins during their high school careers, including both setting a school record 37 singles wins in a season their junior year. Their father, Clark, is a 1987 K-State alumnus.

These five women will join two returning Cats, junior Maralgoo Chogsomjav and sophomore Zhanel Rustemova.
