MANHATTAN, Kansas - Each week throughout the 2025-26 season, k-statesports.com recaps the action for the four former Kansas State women's basketball players currently playing overseas.
Gabby Gregory – Monarcas Juana Diaz (BSNF, Puerto Rico)
In her first season playing overseas, Gregory is averaging 12.5 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.9 assists with the expansion team Monarcas Juana Diaz in the Puerto Rican Baloncesto Superior Nacional Femenino. She is third on the team in scoring and fourth on the squad for rebounding.
Temira Poindexter - Dinao Sassari (Serie A1, Italy)
Playing overseas in her first season after departing K-State, Poindexter will begin play in the Serie A1 in Italy on October 5 with Dinamo Sassari. To begin her time with Sassari, Poindexter helped the squad to a pair of wins in Round 1 of Eurocup Qualifying with two wins over Panathlitikos. In her first game on Sept. 18, Poindexter tallied 14 points and five rebounds. In game two on Sept. 24, Poindexter notched 12 points.
Serena Sundell – Adelaide Lightning (WNBL, Australia)
Following her action in the U23 FIBA 3x3 World Cup in China, Sundell continued her basketball journey to her first professional winter league season in Australia with the Adelaide Lightning in the WNBL. Sundell, a 2025 WNBA Draft selection by Seattle, took part in two games with Adelaide in the Townsville Tip-Off, an exhibition event featuring all of the teams in the WNBL. She averaged 8 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2 assists in the two games. Sundell will officially begin the WNBL season on Oct. 19 against Perth.
Peyton Williams - Wuhan Shengfan (China)
Since graduating from K-State in 2020, Williams has played in Russia, Belgium and China. This will be her second season playing with Wuhan Shengfan in the Chinese WCBA. Last season, Williams averaged 15.0 points on a .611 field goal percentage, 9.0 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 2.1 steals.
