K-State Announces Baseball Broadcast Schedule for 2026 Season

MANHATTAN, Kan. – The 2026 K-State baseball season will feature 47 games broadcast on ESPN+, including 25 home contests produced in-house by the Emmy Award-winning K-StateHD.TV.
Brian Smoller and former Big 8 Coach of the Year Mike Clark return for their 15th season together as the primary TV talent for K-State home games. Sophie Smith and Hannah Whetstone will also return for their third season as field reporters for the home baseball games on ESPN+.
Smoller and Matt Walters will serve as the primary radio broadcast talent for their 27th season together. Clark along with Wildcat baseball alums Craig Wilson, Jared Goedert, and Trevor Hurley will rotate as analysts on TV and radio.
Most K-State and Big 12 athletic events, home and away – including men's basketball, women's basketball, volleyball, soccer, baseball, and select football games – are available on ESPN+, the direct-to-consumer sports streaming service. Fans can sign up for ESPN+ at plus.espn.com, with monthly, annual, and bundle options available. No minimum contract is required, cancel anytime.

The K-State Sports Network, a Learfield property, will carry five regular season games (March 8 vs. SIUE, March 22 vs. Arizona State, March 24 vs. Nebraska, April 26 vs. Kansas, and May 10 vs. Cincinnati) and the entire postseason on the state-wide network.
The Wildcats open the 2026 season on Friday, February 13, at the MLB Desert Invitational in Scottsdale, Arizona. The Wildcats will begin the four-day event against Iowa, followed by matchups with UConn (Feb. 14), Penn State (Feb. 15), and Air Force (Feb. 16).
The Cats will have a total of nine road games in Arizona, Texas, and Louisiana before their home opener at Tointon Family Stadium on February 27 against Columbia. K-State's home schedule features Big 12 opponents in Arizona State, TCU, Oklahoma State, Kansas and Cincinnati in addition to non-conference opponents Columbia, SIUE, Wichita State, South Dakota State, Nebraska, and Omaha.
